The Lowell Police Department is committed to providing professional law enforcement services to the Community and the Town of Lowell. We pride ourselves on providing local personal services, with highly trained professional experience.

The Police Department is committed to respect and fair treatment for all citizens without regard to culture, race, or gender. We are reflective of the Midwestern values that the community is so proud of. The Officers are committed to being a part of the community not apart from the community. They are devoted to providing a safe environment for all citizens, and being virtuous role models for the youth of our community. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for all our residents and visitors.

However, no matter how hard we try we cannot accomplish these ideals on our own. Without the confidence and support of each of you we could not continue to make Lowell such a great place to work and live. Crime cannot flourish unless the community condones it. The elected Officials and the citizens of Lowell have committed themselves to keeping Lowell the jewel of Lake County.

The Police Department is simply the instrument entrusted to guard the jewel, and maintain the community's commitment.
